Part A: the spoken greeting (set this in {{PHONE_PROVIDER}})

Play this before the call is forwarded. Keep it short so callers do not hang up.

“Thanks for calling Ferryline Pest Control. This call is recorded for quality and training. Please hold while we connect you.”

Setup notes:
– Play the notice on every call, before the forward. Start recording only after the notice plays.
– Turn on recording for both sides of the call (dual-channel if available).
– Pass the original caller ID when forwarding to the Lead Smart number.
– Test it from a phone you own before launch: confirm you hear the notice, the call connects and the recording appears in the dashboard.
– Optional, if Lead Smart’s buyers also play their own notice: keep yours anyway. You are the one recording.

Part B: the web page

Calls to Ferryline Pest Control are recorded. Before your call connects, you hear a short message telling you so. By staying on the line after that message, you agree to the recording. If you do not want the call recorded, you can hang up before it connects.

Why we record calls

  • Quality. Recordings help us make sure every caller reaches someone who can help with their pest problem.
  • Training. Recordings help improve how calls are handled.
  • Accuracy. A recording shows exactly what was asked and answered, which helps if there is ever a question about an appointment, a price or what was said.

What is recorded

The whole call, from the moment it connects, including both your voice and the voice of the person who answers. We also keep the call details: your phone number, the date, the time and the length of the call.

Who can hear it

Recordings are stored with our phone service provider and may be shared with the pest control company that took your call and our call-routing partner, for the reasons above. We do not post recordings publicly or use them for advertising. See our privacy policy for full details.

How long we keep recordings

Recordings are kept for {{RETENTION_PERIOD}} and then deleted, unless we need them longer to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation.

Ask for a recording to be deleted

Email {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} with the subject line “Delete my call recording”. Include the phone number you called from and the approximate date of the call. We will confirm once it is deleted from our records.
